Why This Collection Exists
The foundation of this collaboration goes back a few years. During my time at Bob’s Watches, I had heard of Eric Wind and understood his reputation in the vintage space. But it was not until later, after releasing a video on shopping for watches in Japan, that Eric reached out to collaborate. That led to a series of projects together, from exploring value-driven vintage Rolex to telling the story behind the Paul Newman Daytona seen in film.
As Clicky Bezel began to take shape, the idea of working together on something more meaningful came early. We wanted to build something that went beyond content. Something that would bring Eric’s expertise directly into the store. Now, the timing feels right.
This collection extends the Wind Vintage philosophy into Clicky Bezel. Each watch is selected with a focus on provenance, condition, and historical importance. These are not just old watches. They are pieces of heritage that helped shape the watch world as it exists today.

Before launching this collection, we tested the waters with a small pilot. We brought in a group of vintage Grand Seiko and King Seiko pieces sourced directly from Japan. Each one carried its own story and had never left the country before. That detail alone resonated with a lot of people.
What stood out most was how quickly they found homes. Within a couple of weeks, the entire collection was gone. That told us something important. There is a real appetite for vintage when it is presented with care and context. That experience gave us the confidence to take the next step and work with one of the best in the space.
