Formex Watches at Clicky Bezel
Swiss Engineering with Purpose
Formex is a family-owned Swiss watch manufacturer known for building watches around technical innovation. Their designs lean into sport styling while offering everyday versatility, with engineering at the heart of every piece. From their patented suspension cases to their precision-machined deployant clasps, each watch is designed to be worn hard and enjoyed daily.
At Clicky Bezel, we’re proud to be one of the few authorized retailers in North America offering Formex watches in-store. If you want to experience their engineering-focused designs and see how they feel on your wrist before buying, our San Francisco location is the place to do it.
Why We Chose Formex
Our first connection with Formex came at the Wind Up Watch Fair in San Francisco, where we met co-founder Markus. If you have ever met him, you know how down to earth and passionate he is about the brand.
That meeting cemented what we had already suspected after seeing Formex in the wild. They are a family-run company focused on engineering, and it shows in every watch.
We had also heard strong demand from customers for Formex, so adding them to our carefully curated lineup felt natural.
What Makes Formex Different
Formex watches are built with a problem-solving mindset.
They are known for their patented suspension case, which provides both comfort and shock protection, and for their high-quality, tool-free micro-adjusting deployant clasps. These are details you notice more the longer you live with the watch.
One personal standout is the Essence 39. On paper it is a capable time-and-date watch, but in person it sets itself apart with its fit, finish, and the clever engineering behind the suspension case—a feature that truly clicks once you see it demonstrated.
A Personal Note From Chris
My first exposure to Formex was through a friend and editor at aBlogtoWatch, who had an Essence on his wrist. I was struck by its presence and how well it wore.
It was not until later, when Markus demonstrated the suspension case in person, that I fully understood how much thought went into it. I was blown away. That moment made me want to bring Formex into the store and share that same experience with our customers.
Come try a Formex on in person.
We offer occasional restocks, but supply is limited. If you don’t see exactly what you’re looking for, we’ll help you order it with no stress.
