Why We Chose Kiwame Tokyo
We first came across Kiwame Tokyo through Instagram. It stood out as one of those brands that quietly exists in the background, not widely known but clearly intentional in what it was doing. That combination of strong design and low visibility immediately caught our attention.
It was not until we visited their modest headquarters in Tokyo that everything clicked. Seeing the watches in person and understanding the mindset behind the brand made it clear that this was something worth sharing. We are proud to offer Kiwame Tokyo in North America as their only retailer outside of Japan.
What Makes Kiwame Tokyo Different
Kiwame Tokyo is still early in its journey, and that is part of what makes it interesting. The brand is exploring its identity while staying grounded in clean, minimal design. There are subtle nods to Japanese culture, particularly from Asakusa, that add depth without overwhelming the watch.
One standout model is the IWAO. It is technically a field watch, but refined in a way that allows it to transition easily into more formal settings. The GINKAI silver dial is a favorite, offering a soft, balanced look that feels both traditional and modern at the same time. It is a watch that becomes more appreciated the longer you wear it.

Kiwame Tokyo is the kind of brand that you discover rather than search for. That is part of the appeal. Spending time with the watches and visiting their headquarters gave me a deeper appreciation for what they are trying to build. It is still early for them, but they are on the right path.
The IWAO stood out right away. It has a quiet confidence that fits well with how I like to wear watches. It does not try too hard, but it feels considered in every way. Being able to bring a brand like this to our customers, especially one that is not widely available, is something I am really excited about.
